MOVIE REVIEW PERSONAL
As a fan of the first John Wick movie, I was excited to see the sequel and I wasn't disappointed. The action sequences in this movie were absolutely breathtaking, with each fight scene feeling more intense and creative than the last. Keanu Reeves once again delivers an excellent performance as John Wick, portraying the character's relentless determination and vulnerability in equal measure.
One thing that really impressed me about John Wick 2 was the expanded world-building. We get to see more of the intricate network of assassins and their various factions, adding to the depth and complexity of the movie's universe. The movie also introduces some great new characters, such as Laurence Fishburne's Bowery King and Ruby Rose's Ares.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, there were a few moments where the plot felt a bit convoluted and hard to follow. However, this was a minor issue and didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the movie.
In conclusion, if you're a fan of action movies with expertly choreographed fight scenes and an intriguing universe, then John Wick 2 is definitely worth a watch.

"Behind the Action: The Making of John Wick"
John Wick has become one of the most iconic action movies of recent years, thanks in large part to its intense and expertly choreographed fight scenes. But how exactly did the filmmakers bring these scenes to life? In this blog post, we'll take a look at the making of John Wick and the process behind creating its unforgettable action sequences.
The first thing that sets John Wick apart from other action movies is its commitment to realism. Director Chad Stahelski and his team wanted to create fight scenes that felt authentic and grounded in reality, rather than relying on over-the-top special effects or wirework. To achieve this, they hired a team of expert martial artists and stunt performers to train the actors and choreograph the fight scenes.
Keanu Reeves, who plays the titular character in John Wick, underwent months of intense training to prepare for the role. He worked closely with renowned martial arts instructor Taran Butler, who taught him the techniques of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and gun fu. Reeves also spent countless hours practicing with firearms to perfect his aim and gun handling skills.
The fight scenes in John Wick were shot using a combination of long takes and wide shots, which allowed the audience to fully appreciate the action and see the actors performing their own stunts. The camera work was also designed to be fluid and dynamic, moving seamlessly between different angles and perspectives to create a sense of kinetic energy.
One of the most memorable fight scenes in John Wick is the "nightclub sequence," which sees Wick taking on a group of heavily armed thugs in a crowded nightclub. This scene was shot over several days and required meticulous planning and coordination. The choreography was designed to take advantage of the club's unique layout and lighting, with Wick using the darkness and shadows to his advantage.
In addition to the fight scenes, John Wick also features impressive car chases and stunts. These scenes were shot on location in New York City, with the filmmakers using a combination of practical effects and CGI to create the illusion of high-speed driving and crashes.
Overall, the making of John Wick was a labor of love for director Chad Stahelski and his team. Their commitment to realism and authenticity, combined with their innovative approach to fight choreography and camera work, helped to create one of the most exciting and memorable action movies of recent years.
